Reports from Vihiga County indicate that Deputy President William Ruto has been blocked from addressing residents at Majengo market.Rowdy youth chanted NASA-support slogans, shouting anti-Jubilee chants, saying they did not want Jubilee in the area.Ruto who was to address residents at the market, is said to have left, with his convoy, following shouting from crowd that had assembled at the market which is along Kakamega-Kisumu highway in Western Kenya.This even as former South Maragoli MCA Elizabeth Anaya escaped death after being roughed up by angry mob at Majengo.

Witnesses said she was found with over 50 IDs believed to have been bought from residents in favour of Jubilee. It is further believed that she had sponsored more than 100 voters from South Maragoli to attend a Jubilee meeting with party deputy leader William Ruto at former area Governor John Akaranga's residence, amid speculation from residents that Akaranga's party PPK's full support for Jubilee was engaging in the vice.Anaya who calls herself "iron lady" was in full Jubilee colours and was taken for grilling by police at Vihiga Police Station, Thursday.
