Jubilee Party has moved its nominations from Monday to Wednesday, secretary general Raphael Tuju has said.
After chaotic Jubilee primaries on Friday last week, the party cancelled the exercise and planned to have it on Monday.
Mr Tuju says the change is to avoid clashing with other political parties conducting their nominations.
“We had moved the nominations to Tuesday but realised that ODM will also be conducting their primaries on that date,” Tuju said, as quoted by the Nation.
“Since we will be using the same polling stations, we have therefore decided to move our primaries to Wednesday,” he added.
The Jubilee Party primaries were marred by chaos after the many polling stations were supplied with less voting materials.
