The high court has withheld the election of Langata MP Nixon Korir.

In the ruling, the court ordered that the petitioner Oscar Omoke pays Sh12m in costs.

Omoke had filed the petition against Korir on allegation that there were election malpractices that led to the election of Korir as Langata MP.

Elsewhere, the election petition challenging Starehe MP Charles Njagua has been dismissed with the petitioner Mbogo being asked to pay petition costs.
