Reporters from all media houses have been barred from accessing the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
The media has been banned until further notice, the information was issued by a senior police officer in charge of GSU officers who manned the entrance to the airport.
"They told us the media will not be accessing the airport until further notice said," KTN News reporter Shadrack Mitty.
Governance expert Javas Bigambo has, however, criticised the move.
"When we start seeing such kind of stuff we wonder what is to be hidden from such a small thing," said analyst Javas Bigambo.
The ban comes in a day after Kenyans were treated to a push and pull between self-proclaimed NRM general Miguna Miguna after he landed at the facility from Canada.
As expected Kenyans have taken to social spaces to speak out their minds on the development.
