The National Resistance Movement (NRM) general Miguna Miguna has been arrested.

Reports said Miguna was arrested Friday morning.

Confirming the incident, son to former prime minister Raila Odinga Junior who is the son to former prime minister Raila Odinga said that the lawyer was being picked from his house by unknown people.

"BREAKING: can confirm at this moment that @MigunaMiguna is being picked up from he’s house by unknown persons," Raila Junior tweeted, Friday morning.

The self-proclaimed general had announced on Thursday that he was the one who administered Raila Odinga's oath as people's president.

He had dared the government to arrest him.
