Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has been arrested over hate speech.

The lawmaker was arrested on Monday and he is currently detained at the Pangani Police Station

Kuria's woe comes in after he posted on his Facebook page last week words that were claimed to be threats to non-Jubilee supporters in Kiambu county.

Kuria has been taken at the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) headquarters at Kiambu road where he is being questioned.

This is not the first time the MP has been arrested over alleged hate speech remarks, in 2016 together with Senator Muthama, MPs Junet Mohamed(Suna East), Kimani Ngunjiri(Bahati), and Ferdinard Waititu(Kabete) were detained at the Pangani Police Station.
