East Africa Legislative Assembly MP Simon Mbugua has been arrested.

According to police sources, Mbugua was arrested after he was linked to the violent goons who were filmed roughing up former Nairobi Business Community Association chairman Timothy Muruiki.

Our source said Mbugua is being held at the central police station as sleuths grill him.
