The immediate Machakos Senator Johnson Muthama has been arrested over hate remarks.

Muthama was arrested on Monday in Kangundo area.

The arrest comes in few hours after Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria was arrested and is currently being questioned at the DCI headquarters, Kiambu road.

Muthama and Kuria will spend Monday night at the Pangani police station because of their hate remarks.

Muthama is among the infamous Pangani six who were detained at the Pangani police station in 2016 over hate speech remarks.
