Former veteran opposition leader Kenneth Matiba is dead.

Matiba died Sunday evening according to a family source.

The veteran politician had been admitted at the Karen hospital.

He will be remembered for his presidential campaigns in 1992 where he claimed Daniel Moi rigged him out.
