As the counting of votes continues across the country, many incidents are also being reported regarding the exercise.
Early on Friday, a presiding officer was been arrested in Magarini, Kilifi county.
The officer was accused of leaving ballot boxes at Mapimo Polytechnic tallying centre and also switched off his phone.
The OCPD of Magarini has confirmed the arrest and said the presiding officer will be prosecuted for absconding duty.
Base on results emanating from the IEBC web portal, President Uhuru Kenyatta continues to lead the race to State House.
