Hundreds of Canadians poured into streets of Toronto on Wednesday morning over alleged mistreatment of Kenyan-Canadian lawyer Miguna Miguna.

After five days of controversy, Miguna was deported by Kenyan government authorities after failing to take plea on taking part in illegal administration of oath to Raila Odinga.

"The two despots forced me into a plane last on Tuesday in total contravention of my rights. I will fight back," he wrote.

In Kenya, Interior ministry declared him an 'illegal immigrant' thus the decision to depot him, adding that he had renounced his Kenyan citizenship.

Moments before Miguna's expected landing in Toronto, local online newspaper City News Toronto posted photos of disgruntled Canadians.

"Welcome Miguna, Canada is a country of immigrants," read placards from part of demonstrators, with a number taking advantage to show mixed backgrounds through use of various languages.

Back at Nairobi's Milimani law courts, lawyer James Orengo maintained that Miguna must be produced in court in compliance with court order.
