NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga had hinted to the public that the opposition coalition would make major declarations concerning the August 8, polls on Tuesday.
However, the much-awaited declaration has been postponed to a later date after Kenyans anticipated hearing from Raila at 2 pm on Tuesday.
According to NASA co-principal Musalia Mudavadi, the event has been postponed until Wednesday as the principals are still consulting on the matter.
"Owing to the urgency, complexity, and delicate nature of the issue the NASA summit is handling our consultations are ongoing and progressing well," said Mudavadi.
We regret the consultations are taking longer than expected so we won't be able to address the nation today as earlier projected. We will issue a comprehensive statement to the nation tomorrow," he added.
