The ODM first time controversial MP and former SONU students leader, had been released on cash bail of Sh500,000, after he faced charges of allegedly insulting President Uhuru Kenyatta.He was later re-arrested shortly after leaving the Milimani Law Courts, over an incident he allegedly committed while still a SONU student leader.The demonstrating students engaged GSU officers in running battles, disrupting traffic on Uhuru Highway, Harry Thuku and University Way, at around 12am, Thursday.​
