Unknown people on Monday morning broke into Habib Bank along Koinange Street, Nairobi.

Reports indicate that the suspected thugs took a lot of time in the bank and even ate food inside there.

They used gas cylinders to break into safes of the bank.

On Monday morning customers who went to seek services were turned away by officials who asked them to seek services in other banks.

 Investigations have kicked off into the matter so as to bring the suspects to book.

The bank has four branches where three are in Nairobi and one in Mombasa.
