Two people died and two others were injured in a road accident at Nyonsia area along Kisii –Keroka road on Friday morning.

Confirming the incident on Friday Kisii county disaster management officer Julius Tinega said the two died on the spot as the other two were  injured and rushed to Kisii level six for treatment.

The accident involved a saloon car and Nyamira express bus that was heading to Nairobi but collided head-on at Nyonsia.

“The two lost their lives on the spot and the other two were rushed to Kisii level six hospital and are out of danger," said Tinega.

The deceased bodies were taken to Kisii level six hospital
