President Uhuru Kenyatta has made a few changes to the Cabinet, affecting principal secretaries.

Principal Secretary Nicholas Muraguri has been moved from the Ministry of Health to the Lands Ministry.

Other Ministries affected include; Defence with PS Peter Kaberia being moved to the Sports Development docket, PS Devolution Mwanamaka Mabruki has been moved to Gender Affairs, while Zeinab Hussein will now be in charge of Irrigation from Gender Affairs.

State House Spokesperson Manoah Esipisu in a press statement explained that the move is set to improve the efficiency of public service delivery to Kenyans.

Esipisu said on Friday that the President hopes to enhance teamwork and to improve accountability in the interest of Kenyans.
