President Uhuru Kenyatta has presided this morning over the swearing-in of nine Cabinet Secretaries days after they were confirmed by the National Assembly.
The development now gives him the opportunity to deliver on his second and final term agenda to the people of Kenya.
Whether his second term becomes a success or a disaster will depend on how the newly-sworn in CSs will dispense on their duties.
The CSs are Monica Juma, Keriako Tobiko, John Munyes, Margaret Kobia, Simon Chelugui, Rashid Echesa Mohammed, Faridah Karoney, Ukur Yattani Kanacho, and Peter Munya.
Uhuru's second term will be about shaping his legacy.
Opposition legislators gave the vetting a wide berth, saying that they did not recognise the Uhuru presidency.
