High Court sitting in Nairobi has issued an order to Immigration Department to have embattled Canadian based lawyer Miguna Miguna released unconditionally.
Lady Justice Roselyn Aburili, in her ruling, said the outspoken self proclaimed NRM General was 'illegally' detained.
Miguna Miguna's defense team led by senator James Orengo, Nelson Havi, John Khaminwa and Otiendo Amollo had moved to court to challenge Miguna's detention.
The controversial lawyer is still being held incommunicado at JKIA according to Mr. AmolloAmollo .
"We have been chased from JKIA Terminal 2 and it's now evident that Miguna is being held incommunicado.
"His lawyers, family and lawyers have been denied access to the cage where he's held," he said.
On Monday, Miguna thwarted efforts by the government to deport him using a Dubai bound plane.
The latest court order is the fifth to be issued by High Court against the government over Miguna's tribulations.
