Tusker FC's management has released 14 players from the team.
The players shown the door include nine who are leaving on mutual agreement, while contracts of the other five are set to run out December 31.
Confirming the development, Tusker chairman Dan Aduda said the club has elected not to renew contracts of the five.
This is believed to be part of Tusker's preparations ahead of the KPL 2018 season that is set to begin in February 2018.
The nine released are Anthony Ndolo, George Mandela, Moses Ndawula, Victor Ndinya, Luis Tera, Danson Kago, Noah Wafula, Martin Kizza and Clifford Alwanga.
The rest who will not be part of the team in 2018 are Stephen Owusu, Humphrey Mieno, Allan Wanga, James Situma and Cercidy Okeyo.
“Tusker Football club wishes them all the best in their future endeavors,” reads a message accompanying the names of the mentioned players.
