A section of youths drawn from Kisii county has vowed to go to court and stop the appointment of new Kisii county executives over claims that the selection process was not free and fair above all it was marred with bribery.
Led by Duke Mageto during a press conference on Tuesday the youths said they have sufficient evidence that those who were appointed by Governor James Ongwae gave hefty bribes.
"We won't allow this to happen in Kisii as we know who received the bribes, where, when and the amount, therefore we're going to court," said Mageto.
They, however, called upon the governor to act on the allegations before filing a case on Monday next week.
This comes barely a week after governor Ongwae appointed ten executives to help him run the county.
