John Mjomba, who emerged the top KCPE candidate at Royal Inspirational Academy has called upon well-wishers to help him pay his school fees.

John Mjomba, who scored 388 marks, is appealing for assistance as he looks forward to joining Moi High School, Kabarak.

Mjomba also dreams of pursuing neurosurgery after completing his secondary education.

The 14-year-old could not hide his joy after receiving his results.

“I am happy for posting good results and I want to thank my teachers for having faith in me,” he said.

Khifa Abubakar, the school director, confirmed that Mjomba comes from a poor family, adding that he deserves assistance.

Abubakar also praised Mjomba for staying focused and maintaining a high level of discipline during his stay at the school.

“We are happy for his well-deserved success, he worked hard for it,” said Abubakar, as quoted by The Star.

He said Mjomba was allowed to learn for free because of his brilliance and determination to excel.
