President Uhuru Kenyatta has reiterated Jubilee Party's readiness to face off with the opposition coalition NASA during the August polls.
Speaking on Saturday during a public rally in Kiambu, the head of state challenged NASA "to put its house in order," instead of the alliance's continued onslaught against the electoral body IEBC.
“People should streamline their parties in readiness for the August elections and stop interfering with IEBC who are working to ensure free, fair and credible elections,” the Star quoted him.
Deputy President William Ruto who accompanied Kenyatta during the tour urged the Opposition to settle on a presidential candidate instead of bickering with IEBC.
He called on the residents to reelect the Jubilee administration during the next general elections, saying Jubilee has a development record that Kenyans can attest to.
“The difference between us and our competitors is like day and night. While Jubilee’s priority is development, our opponents’ priority is howthey will share positions,” he noted.
