Ruiru-based Brookside Diaries Limited has signed a two year deal with American multibillion-dollar entertainment and media conglomerate Walt Disney Company.
The giant firm licensed Brookside to use its popular cartoon characters on its brands.
Oliver Mary, Brookside marketing manager, said the contract allows use of Disney, Pixar and Marvel characters on packed yogurt brands.
"We aim at encouraging children to take the Brookside's dairy products from flavored yoghurt, white milk, and flavored milk," Mary said.
The campaign dubbed 'Fun.Tastic.Goodness' will display characters such as Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, Sofia the first, lightning McQueen, Frozen and the Spiderman.
Kenya Dairy Board technical manager Philip Cherono welcomed the marketing campaign, saying it is good news to farmers in the country.
"Higher milk sales mean higher earnings for dairy farmers who have been increasing their production," Cherono said.
