Laety who is famed for her recent inspirational hit Alamo is reported to have committed suicide. The calif records diva breathed her last in circumstances that are not yet clear. Her death is still under investigation by the police. She was reported dead on June 1
Her brother, Edward Ochieng addressed the rumors and made it clear that she did not commit suicide.
“Now the evidence we have from the CID and according to the last witness, the last thing that happened was Laety was found unconscious with a rope tied around her throat, and she was hang on the bedroom wall," Ochieng said
“The CID had a photo, I don’t know if I can access it. It is still private. And they say there is no way her weight could be supported by the length of the rope, the house [the distance between the roof and the floor] and her height. It doesn’t add up. We have the police and we are getting investigators because even us as the family we have so many whys, we don’t know what happened, it was an unusual death.”
Edward continued, “My mum tells me that there is a show Laety did and the money was held. And the person who was supposed to pay them the money never paid them, we are waiting for further details on the said show.”
Meanwhile, Laety had worked on a few unreleased projects one of which the brother said would be released soon.
“I have an official track produced by Kevin Provoke it is called Africa,” Edward said.
