Two brothers have been arrested after attacking their mother injuring her at Vomboni locatiion, Mavoloni, Machakos County.
The two are alleged to have last night attacked their mother following family wrangles over a piece of land.
It is said that wrangles started when the mother of the men tried to intervene a quarrel between them and their sister who was asking them for her piece of land so she can start developing it.
According to Agnes Wambua their mother, his male children attacked her and daughter with a panga, at around 10.00P.M.
“They were beating my daughter and when I tried to rescue her, they also attacked me and my daughter with a panga,” she said.
The mother has accused her children for trying to take her land by force where she says they sought to develop on their own or sell it without her consent.
Agnes added that she was forced to call police who arrested the children while she sought medication at Kithimani and later requested for P3 form from the police.
The arrested are to be arraigned in court anytime immediately after investigations on the matter are complete.
