[Photo: @BungomaNews/Twitter]Residents in Bungoma town were forced to flee for their lives, from teargas canisters after chaos erupted, Friday.Trouble started when supporters of governor aspirant Wycliffe Wangamati (Ford Kenya) and those of incumbent Ken Lusaka (Jubilee Party] attacked each other, as the two sought to be cleared by IEBC, to vie in the August 8 polls.The clashes led to the killing of a woman, after an officer shot to disperse the irate crowd.Bungoma senator and Nasa co-principal Moses Wetangula condemned the killing and the entire incident, accusing Lusaka of causing it.He was speaking after Wangamati was cleared, where they held a rally, to rally support for Wangamati.However, Lusaka also blamed the incident on the Ford Kenya candidate, saying his supporters were peaceful until they were attacked.Lusaka also attacked Wetangula, saying he failed to go for presidency even after Bungoma residents showed him support.
