Citizen TV's Nipashe News anchor Kanze Dena has lost his father, Harry Kitao Stephens.

The late Stephens is also brother-in-law to Taveta Member of Parliament Naomi Shaban.

Reports indicate Kanze's dad succumbed to a prolonged illness.

Stephens was a community mobilizer.

He played a key role in supporting disadvantaged families and spearheaded the education of children from Kisauni (Mombasa County) and Taveta (Taita Taveta County) was smooth and Kibra (Nairobi County).

A memorial service of the late will be held on Friday at the All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi.

The deceased burial is slated for Saturday, March 17, at Nairobi’s Lang’ata cemetery.

According to his family, he wished to be buried at the named cemetry
