Parents in Bonchari constituency have been asked to apply for bursary funds starting February 15.

According to the area MP Oroo Oyioka, the application forms will also be made available and be distributed to all the wards in the constituency.

"The application for bursary will start from February 15. Parents with students in colleges, polytechnics and secondary schools are advised to apply," he said.

The lawmaker assured that there will be no one who will be favored in the allocation of the funds.

"The committee will allocate the funds to every student who will apply. The allocation process will be transparent," he added.

Mr Oroo also accused the former MP John Opore for failing to release last year's funds in time after the parents applied.

"I am being asked about last year's CDF funds which I lnow nothing about. Those questions should be channelled to the former MP," he said.
