Nairobi governor Mike Sonko has received praise from residents of Buruburu Phase I after what they termed as good service delivery.

This comes after the governor thwarted plans by a contractor to construct a mast in the estate without approval from City Hall.

The contractor allegedly tried to use the festive season to construct the mast on a drainage line, something the residents said was contrary to an agreement reached during a previous public hearing.

Residents now demand that NEMA and the Communications Authority completely stop the project and that county officers ensure no further construction goes on.
