Bus drivers in Tala town have called upon the county government of Machakos to expand the Tala bus park to be able to accommodate all Public service vehicles.
Speaking to some of them, drivers lamented that the bus park is small thus unable to accommodate all PSV vehicles prompting buses to park around the bus park thus causing congestion.
"The bus park is full we are even forced to pick passenger while parking outside the bus park thus congesting the area, even the taxi drivers are complaining that we are eating their space," remarked Moses Muasya a bus driver for KAM Sacco.
The drivers said that if the county government can't be able to expand the bus park it should find an alternative place for the buses to be picking and dropping passengers.
The county government of Machakos had promised to renovate the bus park before the beginning of last year a promise it has never delivered up to date.
