William Musumba with family members during the burial of her mother Julia Musumba in Bulwani village on Saturday.[Photo|Busia County Government]Hundreds of football officials from the Western Kenya region on Saturday attended the burial of Mama Julia Adhiambo Musumba.The 87-year-old was the mother to Football Kenya Federation Busia Branch chairman William Musumba and was laid to rest at her Bulwani village in Butula Sub-county.FKF Western Branch chairman Patrick Lubembe led the soccer fraternity from Vihiga, Kakamega, Busia and Bungoma counties for the burial.Others in attendance were branch Treasurer Slyanus Nevere, former FKF NEC member Western branch Elly Mukolwe, former Western branch chairman Andrew Amukowa and former Harambee Stars Under 20 coach Vince Ombiji.Mama Musumba was a renowned midwife.She is survived by 14 children,106 great children, 97 great grand children and 4 great great grand children. Father Kizito Okuku of Butula Catholic Parish presided over the burial mass.
