Busia gubernatorial aspirant Paul Otuoma has nominated Solomon Abwaku as his running mate ahead of the 8, August polls.

Abwaku hails from Teso North sub-county.

The Funyula MP,  will vie for the county’s top seat as an independent candidate. 

This is after he resigned from ODM party claiming he was rigged out by incumbent Sospeter Ojaamong' during the ODM primaries in April.

The legislator however indicated he would support the National Super Alliance (Nasa) presidential candidate who is also the ODM part leader, Raila Odinga, for the State House race.
