The business community in Kisii town is counting losses after rowdy demonstrations by anti-Jubilee youths on Wednesday.
According to small vendors in the town, some of the youths took advantage of the demonstration and broke into their shops.
Danvas Matoke who sells pineapples in Kisii said that the youths took away his full sack of pineapples.
“I am not the only one affected so far I have heard over ten of business owners complain that the youths took over what they had,” he said.
Another fish seller identified as Esther Kerubo said the rowdy youths took some of her fish making her record loses.
The youth staged demos on Wednesday in the town as they accused Jubilee agents of buying identity cards from the area.
