A business summit that looks to showcase Nairobi's Eastleigh area as a major business and economic hub has been scheduled for Saturday.
In a media briefing on Thursday by Ark Media's CEO Ahmed Mohammed which is organising the summit, the CEO said the business conference seeks to bring together at least 300 business delegates who will explore ways of enhancing a better business and investment environment in the suburb.
“The Summit aims to explore the realities of doing business in Eastleigh and provide a platform for frank debate on effective strategies for sustaining Eastleigh’s positive momentum,” he said.
“We want to debunk the negative perceptions of Eastleigh that have been built over the years. This will enable the area attract more business and investors,” he added.
The summit will be held at Eastleigh High School and it is set to be graced by National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale who will also give the conference's keynote speech.
