According to some most of their clients have stopped purchasing new lines or replacing lost ones.

Teresia Nyanchama a Safaricom shop owner in Kisii urged NASA to withdraw their stand as that will render them jobless.

"I used to make at least 50 replacements in a single day but for now I make below thirty, the same applies to new sim card sales which have dropped drastically too," said Nyanchama.

Another Mpesa owner in Kisii Kelvin Kiyondi said transactions for the last one week has been reducing and he has already started enterprising for new business ideas.

"NASA's push will finally see most of us shut down our shops if they won't withdraw their push," said Kiyondi.
