Businessman Daniel Muange has declared interest in the Changamwe parliamentary seat.
The Kamba leader said he is confident of defeating the incumbent, Omar Mwinyi during next year's polls.
Speaking in an interview on Monday in Nyali, Muange said that his main aim was to unite the residents and develop the constituency.
"I will seek to unite the Kamba community and every constituent regardless of whether they are in Jubilee or Cord. Through this, we shall be able to achieve our objectives as Changamwe residents,” said Muange.
He said that the Kamba community from Changamwe lacked representation in the county assembly due to lack of unity during election periods.
"I will work tirelessly towards developing Changamwe, as the previous leadership has failed in spearheading the development agenda,” said Muange.
