A Vihiga businessman is demanding Sh20 million from the area county government for his contract work.
According to Roddy Ambuka, his business could be auctioned after the county failed to pay him.
Ambuka offered conference facilities to the county government for nearly four years at Roddy’s Green Hotel in Emuhaya during the tenure of Moses Akaranga.
Last week, procurement officer Nathaniel Ahaza said most people who claim the county owes them money lack certificates of completion.
.Ambuka said his wife played a big role in offering the services to the county but died before she was paid.
Governor Wilbur Ottichilo has said that the county coffers are empty.
