Butchery owners in Nakuru town have been warned against selling 'bad' meat to the public lest they face the law.
Public Health officer Dr. Samuel King’ori in an exclusive phone interview said they are out to ensure meat for public consumption is well inspected.
He also called on the public to ensure the meat they buy from butcheries has been inspected.
“We are out to ensure that the public consume meat that has been inspected by the health officials and I am also calling on the public to ensure before they buy meat from any butchery,it has health official stamp,”said Kingori.
His sentiments comes a few months after residents of Naivasha sub-county raised an alarm that most traders sell 'bad' meat.
