Uasin Gishu gubernatorial aspirant Bundotich Zedekiah Buzeki now wants a repeat of the Uasin Gishu Jubilee party nominations.
Buzeki claims the exercise was not free and fair as many of his supporters were not allowed to take part in the nomination exercise.
Speaking at his rural home in Ainabkoi, Buzeki claimed there was a deliberate move to ensure few voters as possible in his strongholds took part in the exercise by delaying in delivering voting materials.
"Voting at Munyaka with over 16,000 voters begun at 1:30pm. The same was replicated at MV Patel with over 15,000 voters where only 1,700 people voted," lamented Buzeki.
He claimed over 75,000 people mainly in the urban centers, his perceived strongholds, did not take part in the exercise.
"There is no way you can say this exercise was free and fair when almost every voter in Eldoret town did not take part in the exercise," said the billionaire businessman.
He is on Thursday expected to appear before the Jubilee party elections tribunal where he will present his complaints hoping that a repeat exercise will be ordered.
Final results for the gubernatorial ticket indicated that Mandago had beaten Buzeki with a difference of over 40,000 votes.
Mandago garnered 126,681 votes while Buzekk had 82,869 votes.
