Uasin Gishu gubernatorial aspirant Bundotich Zedekiah Kiprotich alias Buzeki, says high poverty levels and development imbalances in the County are the reasons that made him join the race to unseat Jackson Mandago.Buzeki, a billionaire businessman believes his  track record as an entrepreneur has prepared him to address those issues."My administration will ensure development projects are rolled out in each part of the county and this will also help improve livelihoods and address high poverty levels among the locals," said Buzeki. His entry into the race for the Uasin Gishu gubernatorial race has tilted scales in the County, forcing incumbent Mandago and other aspirants to go back to the drawing board. With the race heating up, there has been reports that Mandago could be planing to quit Jubilee Party in fear of 'bungled' nominations. He has however refuted the claims, and termed them as propaganda being spread by his competitors. There has also been claims that Buzeki was being fronted by State House operatives, claims that were first made by Kanu chairman Gideon Moi in January, during the burial of former nominated MP, Mark Too.
