Uasin Gishu Independent gubernatorial candidate Zedekiah Bundotich alias Buzeki and Langas MCA Francis Muya have endorsed Kapseret KANU MP aspirant John Rono to battle with the incumbent Oscar Sudi of Jubilee.

They said they want a leader who will unite Kenyans and not divide them as it has been the norm.

“We have decided to endorse Rono not because he is a Kalenjin but because he has shown leadership qualities unlike the incumbent. We will campaign for him door to door until he clinches the seat,” said Francis Muya at Langas Estate, Sunday.

“We want a leader who will serve Kapsaret residents equally not basing on their tribal or political affiliation since no one applied to be born in Uasin Gishu County,” said Buzeki.

They however, urged their supporters to refrain from incitive and divisive politics that may propel violence.

“Elections is just a one day affair. Why should you attack your brother just because of someone who even doesn’t know you? Let us maintain peace before, during and after elections,” said Muya.

This comes after Uasin Gishu County governor Jackson Mandago and Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi on Friday publicly campaigned for Charles Okumu an ODM  Langas MCA candidate to face the incumbent Francis Muya.
