Uasin Gishu gubernatorial candidate tycoon Zedekiah Bundotich popularly known as Buzeki has spoken for the first time since Tuesday's general elections in which he lost to incumbent Jackson Mandago.

Buzeki who gave Mandago a run for his money has signaled his willingness to accept the results.

Through a post on his official Facebook page, Buzeki who vied as an independent candidate thanked all those who supported him.

"My Friends, my Team, I will forever be indebted to you because of your unwavering support to me. We lost the war but won the battle, let us move on. God bless you and your loved ones. We live to fight another day. Aluta continua Tai ole Tai," said Buzeki.

Governor Jackson Mandago was declared the winner on Friday after garnering 193,606 votes while Buzeki had 148,121.
