Members of the Kikuyu business men community in Uasin Gishu County have cried foul over harassment by county askaris.

The business men claim they are being harassed because they supported Zedekiah Bundotich Kiprop for governorship in August polls.

Led by Huruma MCA Peter Chomba, they said they do not have space to sell their products since they have been displaced."Why are they targeting the Kikuyu community and not other tribe? Is it because we voted for Buzeki? Where do they want us to sell our products?" he said in Eldoret town, Wednesday."We are calling upon President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto to intervene because we are being subjected to ethnic profiling and harassment just because we voted for someone else as governor  in August,” he added.Veronica Njeri, a business lady, said it has been difficult to sell Jubilee agenda to the Kikuyu business community."Why should we vote for President Kenyatta and his deputy and yet we are suffering. If they will not act we will  not vote for them come October 26 presidential election. Are we less Kenyans?" she posed. They threatened to hold demonstrations in Eldoret if their voices are not heard.
