Uasin Gishu County Independent gubernatorial candidate, Zedekiah Bundotich Buzeki, has challenged his competitor the incumbent governor Jackson Mandago to publicly announce that he will concede if defeated in the August 8th elections.
He said in any competition one should either expect to win or loose.
“I have publicly said, I will accept defeat and work with Mandago if he trounces me in the August 8th elections. I expect him to do the same,” he said in Eldoret town, Monday.
“Why is he afraid of conceding if defeated? Is there something that we don’t know,” added Buzeki.
He called on aspirants to conduct their campaigns and refrain from incitive politics basing on tribal and political cocoons that might propagate violence.
“This county is greater than an individual. Let us campaign peacefully putting in mind that Uasin County will be there after elections. Incitors should be arrested and charged,” noted Buzeki.
He urged resident to elect him since he is poised to revolutionise the county’s agriculture, health, tourism, infrastructure and education sector.
