Former Uasin Gishu gubernatorial candidate Bundotich Buzeki Kipruto has lashed out at NASA leader Raila Odinga for his continued stay in politics.

Speaking at a church service in Kuresoi on Sunday, Buzeki told Raila to exit the political arena, adding that it was a time he let Kenyans chart their way forward without his "interference".

According to Buzeki, the former prime minister has had enough unlucky shots at the presidency and should consider himself unlucky for the position adding that his leadership is not a must.

‘’We owe him nothing in his twenty years of seeking the presidency. He should spare us and retire in peace,’’ he was quoted by The Star.

He also cautioned Raila against the alleged plans to have him sworn in as president on Tuesday.

He said that should the plans proceed, the opposition leader should be charged for engaging in a criminal activity.

‘’The swearing in of a president is respected globally and if Raila will interrupt it, he deserves to be dealt with properly,’’ said Buzeki.
