President Uhuru Kenyatta is planning a major sacking of ministers in his 19-member Cabinet.
In a meeting the president met the ministers and Principal Secretaries on Wednesday, he made clear his intent of terminating their services as he creates a 22 member cabinet.
He will be sworn in on Tuesday next week.
The new ministers to be appointed remain a closely guarded secret at State House and it is said that only the president and DP William Ruto know who are in and who are out.
“He (Uhuru) made it clear there is going to be a massive clear-out of the Cabinet and fresh people will come in,” said a source quoted by the Star.
“He was very clear it is not going to be business as usual once he is sworn in," the source said.
