According to reports, Jubilee Party Secretary-General Raphael Tuju, former Meru Governor Peter Munya, former Mombasa Senator Hassan Omar Ex-Budalang’i MP Ababu Namwamba and Former Funyula legislator Paul Otuoma are among politicians being mentioned in the appointments.The politicians are said to have played a key role during Jubilee campaigns that saw Uhuru and DP William Ruto re-elected for a second term in office. Sources also say CSs who might be reappointed and are non politicians include Dr Fred Matiang’i of Education ministry and also acting in Interior, Amina Mohamed of Foreign Affairs docket, James Macharia of Infrastructure and Transport ministry, Sicily Kariuki of Public Service and Youth Affairs docket, Prof Judi Wakhungu of Environment and Joe Mucheru of ICT.It is however not yet clear when the president will unveil his new cabinet.“When the President is ready, I am sure he will announce; for now, I can’t speculate,” State House Spokesman Manoah Esipisu said as quoted by Nation.
