Estranged Canadian based lawyer Miguna Miguna will not be coerced to sign forms compelling him to apply afresh Kenyan citizenship, Otiende Amollo has said.
For the last 24 hours, Miguna has been detained at JKIA even as an attempt by government to deport him again failed.
"I am not going anywhere. I do not have a passport, I did not board this plane and I have no relative in Dubai," protested Miguna.
So dramatic has been his return, that even NASA leader Raila Odinga was seen struggling to secure his release.
Since morning, Otiende says, Miguna's lawyers have been denied access to where he is detained, with the government dispatching forms for fresh application of citizenship.
"Four hours on, still no access to advocates , doctors or family. Senator Orengo and myself have been denied access. He is not going to sign the forms," he said.
Ministry of interior still holds that Miguna is not a Kenyan citizen and accuses him of defying authorities when he landed.
