Aburi said he has no apologises to make to the ODM party leader for defecting to President Kenyatta-led Jubilee Party.

"I will not apologise, I won't say sorry for defecting to Jubilee. If Raila thinks I have made a wrong decision let him call for by-elections we meet at the ballot I teach him a lesson," he said.

Speaking in Maua town on Tuesday, Aburi expressed disappointment in Raila for failure to honour his pledge in supporting his constituency, said he is confident of winning a by-election should it be held.

"What can the people of Tigania show for being in ODM? Raila has made pledges to support us but has shown no commitment. He has disappointed us, not once but in many occasions. We have left his party empty-handed," he said to his supporters.

Aburi said the people of Tigania has moved to Jubilee and will overwhelmingly vote for the party to ensure Uhuru is re-elected to serve a second term.

Raila has told the party defectors that they should hurriedly vacate for Uhuru Kenyatta’s party and leave room for new members to join the ODM.
