NASA leader Raila Odinga has denied calling for demonstrations on the day of elections.

Raila has now reached out to his supporters asking them to stay at home and not go out for the said demos on elections day on Thursday.

"We have not told people to demonstrate on the polling day. We have not said that at all,” Raila said on Tuesday during an interview with the BBC. 

“We have told people to stay away,” he added.

Raila last Thursday said told his supporters to prepare for demonstrations in the first days of the week preceding the fresh poll.
